Class '88, born in the province of Salerno (Campania) where he began boxing at the age of 17 years and where he played his debut in amateurism in 2006. It transfers in Rome shortly after the beginning of his career as an amateur in the historic Boxing Gym Audace.
As an amateur in Italy claimed about 81 matches, including 8 participation in The National Championship. During this years, Dario met the national best amateurs in various weight categories (from 69 Kg to 75 Kg), achieving excellent results, such as the draw with future bronze at the 2012 London Olympics Vincenzo Mangiacapre.
Then the decision to move first in Spain (where he made 6 matches winning 5) and then - in 2010 - in the USA, in New York (where he made 4 matches wining 3).
In the United States as an amateur started to train at the famous Gleason's Gym doing sparring partner with boxers like Yuri Foreman, Joan Guzman and many other professional and amateur very valid and has competed successfully three match winning against Quentin Fortune (150 matches as an amateur, 2 Golden Gloves finals, which has in its records as opponents Zab Judah). In this way, ended his career as an amateur with a total of 91 matches played.

Thanks to these results has received a special visa for 10 years to boxing in the United States and began preparation for entering the professional team of Hector Roca and Don Saxby (former Foreman, Guzman).
Subsequently, he was approached by Albino Dragone (former Manager and Trainer Larry Barnes), with whom he signed a 3-year contract, an Italian-American businessman living in Yonkers, New York for 46 years, owner of Dragone Boxing Gym where Dario moved for a short time. Meanwhile Dario runs very gyms in New York doing a lot of sparring with boxers in the World scene.
On August 11/2012 he made his first match as a professional weight superwelter, winning on points by unanimous decision in New York.
After attending many gyms, Dario arrives at the Morris Park Boxing Club in the Bronx where it will be under the command of Aaron "Superman" Devis former WBA Welterweight Champion Of The World (Trainer), Lou "Honey Boy" Del Valle former WBA Light Heavyweight Champion Of The World (Second Trainer) and Vincenzo Scardino (Conditional Trainer).
After a short period in Brazil to test the waters of MMA, Dario moved to Berlin. After a year and a half in Berlin at the ISI Boxing Gym and the orders of the Manager and Promoter Rainer Gottwald and Mario Pokowietz with which Dario has played 8 matches. In that year and a half Dario won 3 Championships: GBA German International Superwelterweight Title, GBU European Welterweight Title and GBU Intercontinental Middleweight Title.
In January 2016 Dario, change Manager and Promoter and signing with the P1 Pollex Box-Promotion GmbH of Olaf Pollex and Charlie Podehl working with Ses Boxing and goes to train in the boxing gym of Pollex Boxing Team along with the boxers of Team Pollex as Rico Muller, Jan Meiser and many other. In the summer 2016 Dario spent time in Singapore to work with The EVOLVE MMA TEAM, and has been training with Champions such as Rafael Dos Anjos, Leandro "Brodinho" Issa, Christian Lee who fight in the UFC.
After closing the relationship with Pollex & Podehl, Dario then moved to Mexico in Guadalajara in the Boxing Gym of Saul "El Canelo" Alvarez and now he trains under the former WBC Featherweight World Champion Alejandro "La Cobrita" Gonzalez. During these years he fought important matches suchs as the Intercontinental IBF Welterweight Title, against Tsiko Mulovhedzi (former IBO Welterweight World Champion) which took place in South-Africa.
In 2018 Dario came back in Europe and signed a contract with his current manager Miloš Veselých, alternating his workouts between the Peacock Gym in London, the Morris Park in New York, the Fortitudo Boxing Club in Rome, Escuela de Boxeo Canelo Alvarez in Guadalajara and the Pugilistica Salernitana in his hometown.
In december 2019 during the event organised by Frank Warren at the Copper Boxe Arena in London, Dario is defeated by TKO at time 01:55 of the last round - which was a controversial decision taken by the referee Steve Gray - against the british boxer Troy Williamson, match valid for vacant IBF European SuperWelterweight Title.
He is the current official challenger of Tobia Giuseppe Loriga for the Italian Welterweight Title.
